Seasonal Control Operator
General Description: Under the direction of The District Manager, Assistant Manager, and Zone Supervisor, a Seasonal Control Operator sprays EPA approved pesticides used for the control of mosquitoes in the Madera County Mosquito and Vector Control District area of jurisdiction.
Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent to high school. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports. Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license, good communication skills, and the ability to work congenially and cooperatively with others.
Salary and Benefits: Starting rate of pay $18.50 per hour. There is no benefit package for this position.
